Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from procurement teams on our products, export process, certifications and how to order — grouped by topic.

GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) and FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) describe the same underlying composite — glass fibre set in resin. "GRP tank" is typically used for hot-pressed panel tanks built from dense SMC panels, while "FRP tank" sometimes refers to hand-laid, single-piece moulded tanks. Quality depends on the manufacturing process used, not which term is applied.
An SMC panel water tank is a sectional storage tank built from hot-pressed Sheet Moulding Compound panels — a dense, glass-fibre-reinforced polyester — bolted together with gasket seals. It is externally stiffened, so it needs no internal steel frame, and is used for potable, fire and process water storage.
A correctly installed and maintained GRP panel tank typically lasts 20–30 years, since the panels themselves do not corrode or degrade under water immersion. Panel gaskets are the usual maintenance item and are designed to be replaced individually without dismantling the tank.
Hot-pressed panels are moulded under heat and pressure, producing a denser, more consistent panel with better long-term structural and hygienic performance. Cold-pressed panels cure without heat and are generally lower cost but more variable in thickness and finish. We supply hot-pressed panels as standard.
A container house suits smaller, quickly relocated units — offices, clinics, classrooms — since it ships as one complete module. A prefabricated building suits larger, permanent or semi-permanent structures such as warehouses, where the floor area needed exceeds a single container module.
SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) and DMC (Dough Moulding Compound) are glass-fibre-reinforced polyester feedstocks used in compression moulding to produce electrical enclosures, water tank panels, chequered plates and automotive or appliance components.
IP65 means the enclosure is fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction — the standard rating specified for outdoor electrical and instrumentation housings exposed to dust, rain and wash-down cleaning across Gulf and African sites.
Shipping & Export
We manage the export side end to end — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any destination-specific compliance paperwork — and coordinate with your local customs clearance agent. You provide the delivery address and any import permit details your country requires; we handle sourcing, shipping documentation and freight booking.
One-stop procurement means sourcing multiple material and equipment categories for a project through a single supplier who consolidates purchasing, quality checking, export documentation and shipping — rather than the client managing separate relationships, minimum orders and freight schedules with each individual manufacturer.
Lead time depends on structure size and cladding specification; we confirm a firm fabrication and shipping schedule once drawings are approved. Container houses and smaller modular units generally ship faster than large multi-bay prefabricated structures.
Yes. Where a project is sourcing several categories — piping, electrical, structural, building materials — we consolidate into fewer, larger shipments, which reduces freight and customs handling cost compared with sourcing each category from a separate supplier.
We ship from our UAE and India supply base to the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and 40+ African countries across West, East, Southern and North Africa, coordinating port and inland delivery to match each project's destination.
Yes, we routinely phase deliveries against a project's construction, harvest or rollout schedule for contractors and organisations running multi-site or multi-country programmes, particularly common on African infrastructure and agricultural projects.
Certifications & Quality
A credible industrial supplier should offer material traceability (mill test certificates for piping and steel items), relevant product certification for hazardous-area or safety-critical equipment (e.g. Ex-rated motors), and be able to arrange third-party inspection where a project specification requires it — not rely on self-declared quality alone.
Yes, piping materials, structural steel and mechanical equipment are supplied with mill test certificates as standard, and we can arrange third-party inspection, positive material identification and hydrostatic testing where a project specification requires independent verification before shipment.
Yes, GRP panel water tanks can be supplied with a food-grade internal gel coat suitable for potable water storage, and we provide the relevant material compliance documentation for projects that require it.
Yes, TEFC and Ex-rated motors are available for hazardous-area duty on oil & gas and petrochemical sites, supplied with certification relevant to the destination country and the specific hazardous-area zone classification of the installation.
Ordering & Quotes
Use the Request a Quote form, selecting your product category, quantity and destination country, and attach a BOQ or specification sheet if you have one. We aim to return a quotation within 24 hours of receiving a complete enquiry.
Minimum order quantity depends on the specific size, thickness and hole pattern ordered. We confirm MOQ and lead time once your drawing or specification is reviewed — both small retrofit orders and large project quantities are accommodated.
Yes, we regularly work from a contractor or consultant's bill of quantities, piping material take-off or structural drawing, quoting a consolidated package rather than requiring separate enquiries per material category.
Samples can be arranged for moulded and tooled products such as SMC components and, where practical, for material samples on bulk orders — mention this in your enquiry and we will confirm availability and any sample lead time.
Yes, we provide installation guidance for structural and panel products (container houses, prefabricated buildings, GRP tanks), and can arrange site supervision support for teams erecting our structures for the first time.
