SMC/DMC Raw Material Supply

SMC is supplied as a flat, glass-fibre-reinforced polyester sheet sandwiched between carrier film, formulated to the resin, filler, glass content and colour a customer specifies for their moulded product — the same base material we use in our own panel, enclosure and chequered-plate production. DMC is supplied as a bulk, dough-consistency compound for compression or transfer moulding of smaller, more geometrically complex parts. Formulations can be adjusted for flame-retardant, UV-stabilised or food-contact-suitable applications depending on the end product, and material is supplied with the batch documentation (glass content, resin type, shelf life) a moulding operation needs for consistent production.

SMC and DMC raw material supplies moulders producing electrical enclosures, water tank panels, chequered plates and automotive or appliance components. Electrical equipment manufacturers use flame-retardant SMC formulations for enclosure and switchgear housing production. Construction product manufacturers use SMC for panel and cladding production, and general composite component manufacturers across packaging and industrial equipment sectors use DMC for smaller moulded parts.

We supply SMC and DMC on a scheduled basis matched to a customer's production rate, in the roll or bulk format their press tooling requires, with cold-chain-appropriate packing and handling guidance since both materials have a limited shelf life before cure characteristics drift.
